Library

Dear postal historian,

Our library and research center currently contains approximately 2,800 specialized works on postal history worldwide. These include studies, handouts, collections, specialized auction catalogs, postal conventions, service notes, and more. The library’s scope ranges from Aden to Zanzibar and just about every area in between. As it is an “active” library and research center, new information is added on an almost weekly basis.

As we operate as a regular library, it is important that you apply for a library card (R&R card) via the link below. R&R stands for ‘read and research card’. Once granted, this card entitles you to visit the library and access all available material. You can also read/consult the approximately 20 post-historical magazines to which the library subscribes, with a free cup of coffee, tea, or soft drink.  Once your application is accepted, you’ll get also a login code for the protected area’s at the website.

Here is the link for your application to receive an “R&R card” and get acces to the library & research center as well as protected parts of the website: IPHL application RR card
